Overview

If there’s one place that can satisfy the interests of nature lovers, history buffs, and fun-seekers alike, it’s Downtown Savannah. With the district’s cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and Spanish moss-draped neighborhood squares, we never tire of exploring the new and old here. Downtown is a lively place whether it’s day or night. In the morning, grab a croissant at an eclectic cafe or indulge in a full-fledged brunch with bottomless mimosas. In the afternoon, visit an art museum or play pinball at an arcade. An evening out can look like dinner and a movie or karaoke and late-night ice cream. We love the vivacity of Downtown and also love how easy it is to navigate. Charming streets follow a grid pattern, and scenic historic squares offer unique and punctuated green spaces to relax, catch up with a friend, or simply watch the world go by. Public transport here is easily accessible and often low/no-cost. Horse-drawn carriages and walking tours are a common sight, as are artists and visitors from afar. There are so many stories to tell about Downtown and its history, and we’re glad to be a part of its ever-evolving plot.
