Daffin Heights is a classic Savannah neighborhood, and we love how easy it is to get to. A quick trip on the Truman Parkway or a swift jaunt down Skidaway Avenue will bring you to this southside suburb that feels like it’s actually in midtown due to its central location. Affordable ranch-style and mid-century modern homes built in the mid-1900s make up this neighborhood, which is comprised of several hundreds of single-family residences. Here you’ll find children playing basketball in the streets and dog owners taking their four-legged family members for walks along the quiet avenues and drives. This is the perfect neighborhood for a starter home or to settle down for life as many residents have the called Daffin Heights home for over 50 years.

Daffin Heights is also a hop, skip, and jump away from Savannah’s only Historically Black College, Savannah State University. We love the opportunity to take in a game at the renowned T.A. Wright Stadium during football season. Also, don’t tell anyone our secret, but their Saturday farmer’s markets are pretty amazing too. Just down the road on Skidaway is the lovely Bacon Park/Magnolia Hill neighborhood, which features baseball fields, tennis courts,  a neighborhood pool, and access to the Truman Linear bike trail.
