Activity Overview
One of the most beautiful and efficient ways we like to soak in Savannah is on a bicycle. Flat terrain makes for great biking for riders of all levels, and an increase in bike-friendly infrastructure provides a ton of possibilities for traveling on two wheels. A weekend might look like zipping around the Historic District on an electric bike, checking out pine-laden trails outside of town on a mountain bike, or riding the streets of Tybee Island on a beach cruiser. We love discovering our favorite routes along bike paths, bike lanes, and quaint historic streets, and we can’t get enough of the bike-friendly weather that graces us so often. Plus, there’s always a bike shop within reach when we need repairs, bike rentals, or when we simply want to connect and ride with other cyclists. Another thing to love is that the city and its surrounding areas are committed to continually improving bike safety. Count us in for the ride! Whether we’re commuting to work, taking a bike tour of the city, or simply looking to roll around and breathe in fresh air, Savannah has us covered.
